Make-up Policy
1. Any student who is absent from class for one or two day will have five school days to make up all class work.
2. Any student who is absent for more than two days must make and
sign a plan with the instructor for how all class work will be
completed. A copy of the plan will be given to the student; the
teacher will retain the original.
3. The make-up plan must be made within two days of the student returning to school.
Late Work Policy
1. If an assignment is not passed in on the date that it is due,
the student will have one additional school day to give the work to the
instructor. The assignment will be graded and a penalty of 20
points or two letter grades will be assessed.
2. Assignments not passed in will be given a grade of zero.
Retake policy
1. A student who is in the 9th grade f may retake one test each semester.
2. A student will be allowed to retake a test up to the date of the next chapter test.
3. The student will be given the full credit and weight for the test that is being retaken.
4. A student who scores below the grade of 70 must arrange a
conference with the instructor to go over the material before the test
can be retaken.
6. A student who is in the 11th grade course for Social Studies may retake one test per semester.
